Long Term Studies Demonstrate Impressive Results

In the initial multi-center study by Rick Mitchell, DVM, Cooper Williams, VMD and Larry Wohlford, DVM which examined the treatment of ligament and tendon injuries, it was shown that 100% of the horses treated with the ACell Vet powder resumed conditioning workouts within three months of treatment while control horses receiving conventional therapy alone were still convalescing. More importantly, ultrasound analysis revealed that the core lesions were healed with site appropriate new tissue containing longitudinal fibers along the lines of stress.

In the longer term follow-up by Dr. Mitchell, the results were similarly impressive. Dr. Mitchell analyzed the animals that had received treatment a minimum of twelve months prior to the data collection, and of the 107 cases, a total of 92, or 86%, had returned to full work/function.
