Over 90% of Dog Owners Found Improvement
Results in a study conducted by William Rose, DVM and Jeffrey Wood, DVM ranged from dramatic reduction to complete elimination of arthritic pain. The study showed that a single injection of ACell Vet Powder in suspension significantly improved activity, lameness, and range of motion scores compared to control dogs. In addition, over 90% of owners whose dogs received the ACell Vet injection indicated that the treatment improved their pet’s daily activity and quality of life.
The treatment has been shown to be effective in reducing the symptoms of canine arthritis of the hip for a mean duration of 148 days and a median effective period of 168 days (i.e., over 5 months), which was the predetermined duration of the study. In Dr. Wood’s experience, several study dogs continued to benefit from the treatment beyond the study period.
Ongoing Treatment with Repeated Injections
After a period of approximately six months, the benefits from the initial injection may begin to diminish and arthritic symptoms could start to recur. However, at this stage the dog should still be functioning significantly better than before the initial treatment.
Now, with easily administered injections of ACell Vet joint treatment, the symptoms of canine arthritis of the hip can be significantly reduced or eliminated. Based on Dr. Wood’s experience, it appears that subsequent injections every 8-10 months can extend the dog’s quality of life producing longer lasting results.
Safe and Effective Minimally Invasive Treatment
ACell Vet’s convenient on-shelf technology is easily administered and economically priced. This single injection procedure may be performed with or without general anesthesia.
