Dental Extractions

Complications can be Serious

Though generally not considered a complicated procedure, complications from dental extractions can be serious. Sockets with infected and/or purulent discharge can be difficult to heal. Inserting an ACell Vet Corneal Disc into the socket after tooth extraction will promote remodeling of site specific tissue and rapid healing.

Generating Remodeled, Functional, Site Specific Tissue

ACell Vet’s naturally derived extracellular matrix (ECM) is comprised of multiple types of collagen, growth factors, glycoproteins proteoglycans and anti-infective peptides and studies show naturally occurring anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.

ACell Vet’s products fundamentally change the healing response, resulting in remodeled, functional, site specific tissue. Rendered acellular in processing, the ACell Vet material is totally resorbed by the body as remodeling occurs, leaving no permanently implanted material behind.
